Produced to accompany the exhibition 'Glamour of the Gods' at the National Portrait Gallery, London (7 July - 11 October 2011). Selected from the archive of John Kobal, who is credited with helping to rediscover the great Hollywood Studio photographers, including George Hurrell, Laszlo Willinger, Clarence Sinclair Bull and Ted Allan. Hollywood love is an ever-popular subject; who isn't intrigued by the on-screen and off-screen romances of the world's greatest film icons? These images have stood the test of time and are as beautiful today as when they were first taken.
