TMA Glass | 2015
Seventh Edition Ornament
Inspired by the Toledo Museum of Art Glass Pavilion
Dance continues to inspire not only performance but also visual artists. In much the same way as Degas was inspired by the beauty of ballet, Ohio native and internationally award winning glass artist Bandhu Dunham celebrates beauty as an art form and the 75th annual performance of the Nutcracker by the Toledo Ballet with this exquisite glass ballet slipper. Each ornament has been intricately handcrafted for the Toledo Museum of Art using hot glass and skilled lampworking techniques.
Being entirely handcrafted, please expect slight variances from ornament to ornament. Ornaments measure approximately 4.5"
